A saponaceous, camphorated liniment; a solution of soap
in alcohol, with the addition of camphor and essential oils; soap

ANETHOL |
A substance obtained from the volatile oils of anise,
fennel, etc., in the form of soft shining scales; -- called also anise
camphor. |

COLOGNE |
A perfumed liquid, composed of alcohol and certain
aromatic oils, used in the toilet; -- called also cologne water and eau
de cologne. |

EUGENOL |
A colorless, aromatic, liquid hydrocarbon, C10H12O2
resembling the phenols, and hence also called eugenic acid. It is found
in the oils of pimento and cloves. |

SUBERIC |
Of or pertaining to cork; specifically, designating an
acid, C6H12.(CO2H)2, homologous with oxalic acid, and obtained from
cork and certain fatty oils, as a white crystalline substance. |
